Be CERTIFIED in the state of Florida.

Have an excellent command of the language/subject area taught

Be creative and energetic.

Be able to share your culture as well as language

Be Certified or in possession of a Temporary Certificate

Be punctual and reliable

Maintain a good rapport with parents, children, and school administration

Be comfortable with computers and internet applications and willing to learn new programs

Be willing to volunteer 15 hours a year with the school

Be willing to wear uniform along with the students (although more color choices are available)

Have reliable transportation

French Camp Counselor
Responsible for development and implementation of specialized curriculum areas including the French language. Assist in unit programming where needed. Training or teaching experience in program area and experience working with children required.

Curriculum areas include, health and fitness, photography, magic tricks, simple chemical solutions, history and currency around the world (see camp themes). Ages of children range from 5 to 9. Starting May 15th, 2008.


Mandarin Chinese Camp Counselor
Responsible for development and implementation of specialized curriculum areas including the spoken Mandarin language. Assist in unit programming where needed. Training or teaching experience in program area and experience working with children required.
